Notes

General Note:
Creating the cofferdam (A cofferdam is an enclosure built within, or in pairs across, a body of water to allow the enclosed area to be pumped out. This pumping creates a dry work environment so that the work can be carried out safely) for Boynton Inlet. From a scrapbook of photographs chiefly of Riddle Engineering Co. projects in the Boynton and Palm Beach area. Many, and maybe all, were taken by photographer Ray B. Dame (1897-1972).
General Note:
Item number: A0069-1-015; Gift of Linda Jackson.
