Notes

General Note:
Large building with sign "Service Station Automobile Tires." Handwritten on back: "This building, on Ocean Ave. just west of the FEC Ry., was built by Chas. B. Mayberry in 1902. It was rented by my father, Jesse Daugharty, and was where we first lived and operated a general store when we came to Boynton in 1902 (November). We bought the building, I believe in 1903 and lived there, upstairs, until about 1906. This picture was taken much later - about 1919 when Early Anderson operated a garage in it. It was so badly damaged in the 1928 hurricane that it was converted to a one-story building.
