Notes

General Note:
Smooth road amid trees. Probably just after the moving of Ocean Blvd. From a scrapbook of photographs chiefly of Riddle Engineering Co. projects in the Boynton and Palm Beach area. Many, and maybe all, were taken by photographer Ray B. Dame (1897-1972). Historical note: In 1925, Riddle Engineering was engaged by the City of Boynton, at the direction of the mayor, C. F. Knuth, to tear up and move Ocean Boulevard south of Ocean Avenue during the night of about 4 Jan 1925, to give houses in Addison Mizner's planned development ocean access. The mayor and Wilson Mizner were later arrested, and the mayor withdrawn from office.
