Notes

Abstract:
Documentation supporting landmark designation for the Mediterranean Revival residence with Art Deco influences at 622 NE 98th Street. Built in 1929 by the architect Robert Law Weed, the home exhibits characteristic features such as a round porthole window and a flat entablature above the entrance. It was one of the properties built for the Lummus family, known for their development work in Miami Beach in the early 1910s. The nomination is supported by the current owner, Dr. Guy O'Grady. It includes a request for landmark designation along with copies of supporting documentation, draft resolutions, and Applications for Certificate of Appropriateness. ( en )
