Abstract:: Village of Miami Shores Landmark Fact Sheet and Worksheet for the Jeffries House, dated 12/10/83. The property, located at 379 N.E. 94th Street, Miami Shores, is classified as a residential structure. It was constructed in 1925-1927 by the Miami Shores Development Co. for Mr. J.B. Jeffries, serving as Secretary-Treasurer of the company. Architectural features include Mediterranean Revival style with Italian influence, L-shaped plan, Spanish barrel tile roofs, rounded arched window openings, French doors, and a porte cochere. The house represents the adaptation of the southern Italian Villa to the Mediterranean Revival style. The property is nominated for designation as a Historic Landmark of Miami Shores Village, with a meeting scheduled for January 23, 1984, to discuss the nomination. ( en )
