Hand drawn map of what is now the Miami Shores area. Shows Biscayne Road, N.W. 103rd Street on the northern end, and below 91st street on the Southern end. Indicates landmarks such T. V. Moore Packing House, Piney Woods Church, Biscayne School, Home of Mary A. Brooks, A. B. Hurst Saw Mill and Starch Factory, as well as names of settlers’ homesteads: Wright, Smith, Truman, Rosborough, Jackson, Johnson, Conrad, Lewis, W.N. Cox, Spralding, Devane, Pollard. ( en )
