General Note:
Lee T. Cooper amassed his fortune from a patent medicine by the name of Tanlac. He came from Dayton, Ohio developed the El Portal area. He purchased T.V. Moore's land holdings and renamed it Bay View Estates. It was later sold to Shoreline Corporation, who developed it into Miami Shores.
