Abstract:
This presentation analyzes the various rare plant species that are visible in coastal regions of Southern Florida.Among the species are the wedge spurge, Cape Sable thoroughwort, and the Big Pine Partridge pea, which are all candidates under the Endangered Species Act. The report also acknowledges the devastating effects of natural disasters to certain species- including the hurricane impacts to Chamaecrista and Chamaesyce. Additionally, this presentation covers the requirements for microhabits, as well as hypothesized impacts of Sea Level Rise. ( English )
