Notes
Abstract:
This report explores the topic of the implications for management of coastal wetlands and the Everglades. The report reveals that by 2100, the rising sea level will inundate much of coastal and interior Miami-Dade County and seriously degrade freshwater availability county-wide. Detailed maps depict the current and projected conditions of the region according to sea level in feet. The report also mentions examples of human modification that contribute toward rising sea levels, such as expensive real estate, landfills and power plants. ( English )
