This poem was composed in commemoration of the celebration of the Atala Butterfly and the 50th Anniversary of the State’s purchase of the Miami-Dade County’s last remnant hammock—Arch Creek Park. Hannah Lasky, Miami, Florida artist, poet and painter of Contemporary Folk Art, as well as hairdresser and owner of Hannah & Her Scissors, Inc.
