Mr. Pathman is a land-use attorney, specializing in sea-level rise mitigation and urban resiliency. He speaks all over the country on these themes. He was born and raised on Miami Beach and resides there. In the interview, he talks about his childhood growing up on the Beach and his commitment to helping create a sustainable future for his hometown in the face of sea level rise and global warming. He discusses a common sense approach to reducing financial risks which entails a collaboration between governments and the private sector.
