Notes

Summary:
By the time Ray Fisher graduated from Miami Beach High School in 1942, he was already an accomplished photographer. He had spent many boyhood evenings hanging out at nightclubs, snapping photos of famous celebrities and performers on the move. So when World War 2 came, he became an Army war photographer and saw plenty of action. In fact, he was seriously wounded on the frontlines, for which he received a Purple Heart. He reminisces about the famous people he has photographed and his time heading the photography department at The Miami Herald.
