General Note:
On Tuesday, December 10, 2013, a panel discussion on water took place in Dori, Burkina Faso. The panel was one of many events commemorating the 53rd anniversary of the independence of Burkina Faso. Its theme was "equitable access to water and social cohesion." Dr. Lakhdar Boukerrou, Regional Director of the USAID WA-WASH program, participated in this panel.
