Jonathan Nelson is a teacher at Miami Beach High School, his alma mater (1971). He was born on the Beach. His father’s family grew up on the Beach. His father’s sister is Judy Drucker, the cultural impresario, also interviewed for this archive. He talks about the atmosphere growing up on the Beach and the many places he and his family went and their activities. He talks about the atmosphere at Beach High. He recalls all the hurricanes he experienced: Donna, Cleo, Betsy, and Andrew.
