Scope and Content:: Rosalind Merritt is an interior designer and artist. She was born and raised on Miami Beach. She talks in detail about what it was like to grow up on the Beach during the 50’s and 60’s. She talks about the activities, the teachers, and social environment of Miami Beach High and the number of prominent people who graduated from there. Her father was Robert Merritt, a contractor/developer. Her maternal grandfather was Morris Alpert, who built the Breakwater Hotel.
