Ares worked as the Miami Beach Assistant Public Works Director. His father arrived on Miami Beach on February 7, 1920, the day the MacArthur Causeway opened. His father worked with Carl Fisher. Ares mentions Rosie the Elephant. His father owned Andy’s Restaurant. He remembers hurricanes. His childhood home was at 328 Jefferson Avenue. His father married his mother in Trinity Episcopal Church. Aristotle Ares talks about the physical development of the beach, traffic and density issues.
