Abstract:

The Guantánamo Bay Naval Base in the nineties has many commodity buildings for the staff and military personnel stationed there. There was a movie theater, library, bowling alley, and places to rent boats, horses, and scuba gear. This chapel was a part of the community buildings offered to military personnel and still offers services, masses and other ceremonies both religious and secular. ( en )
