Notes

General Note:
The Country Club Prado Entrance is located next to the intersection of S.W. 8th Street and Red Road. Designed by Denman Fink, Artistic Director of the City, in 1924, this entrance is considered to be the most architecturally elaborated of all the City entrances. The beautifully designed structure sits in a garden-like environment on the two hundred foot wide median of the Prado. It is built of brick with a stucco finish to give it an Old-World charm. It includes a reflecting pool with pedestal fountains at each end of the two walkways that run parallel to one another. It is named after the Museo del Prado, the national Spanish art museum in Madrid. This beautiful setting is sought out for wedding, family and artistic photographs.
