Notes
General Note:
The Alhambra water tower is at the intersection of Ferdinand street, Alhambra Circle, and Greenway court. It was built in 1924 and was in use until 1931 when Coral Gables began getting its water from the city of Miami. The artistic external façade of the water tower, which looks like a lighthouse, was designed by George Merrickās uncle, Denman Fink. Fink originally designed two such water towers to look like lighthouses, however, the other was destroyed by a hurricane in 1926. The Alhambra water tower has been fully restored and is maintained by the City of Coral Gables.
