Notes

Abstract:
Flamingo Hotel was designed by Price and McLanahan and built by Carl G. Fisher at a cost of $2 million and with a capacity of 150 rooms. It overlooked the smooth Biscayne Bay rather than the ocean beach, which attracted the wealthy toursts for boat racing. It was Miami Beach's first grand hotel and torn down in 1950s to make room for the new Morton Towers development known now as Flamingo South Beach.
General Note:
1 postcard, color in gray, postally unused; caption on recto: "Gondolas at Flamingo Hotel, Miami, Fla."
