Abstract:
"This turn-of-century view of Miami in its infancy shows the Avenue D (today's Miami Avenue) Bridge crossing the Miami River. At the mouth of the river on the north side, occupying the site of today's Dupont Plaza, is Henry Flager's Royal Palm Hotel. Across the river on the south side is Brickell Point" -- From Miami in vintage postcards, 2000, Patricia Kennedy.
