Abstract:
"The turn-of-century view of Miami in its infancy shows the Avenue D (today's Miami Avenue) Bridge crossing the Miami River. At the mouth of the river on the north side, occupying the site of today's Dupont Plaza, is Henry Flagler's Royal Palm Hotel.
