Notes

Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to make a preliminary rather than a comprehensive analysis of the hydrology of conservation areas one, two and three of the Central and Southern Florida project. The scope of the investigation included a review of existing hydrologic data for the system and development of a study plan, a two day reconnaissance of the study area, and formulation of a study plan for determining the water budget within the study area. Further steps were: an analysis and evaluation of available information required to make the water budget, suggested changes in management practices where needed based on the estimated water budget, and finally a summary report of the findings of the investigation.
