Jackie Gleason is being sought to read the Declaration of Independence during opening night ceremonies which will probably be telecast on nationwide television." "The event is co-sponsored by the City of Miami Beach and the Miami Beach Tourist Development Authority and endorsed by Third Century, this area's bicentennial organization."
