General Note:
Looking south with the ocean to the left, Collins Avenue in the center. Showing the first and only apartment house on Miami Beach at the time with Fisher's indoor tennis court and office building on Lincoln Road. The pier into the ocean is at the foot of Lincoln Road– Hi-44 (HASF - illegible) Series includes 1900's black and white photocopied copies of the Claude Matlack's Collection, Carl Fisher's personal photographer. Most of the glossy photographs taken by Matlack were donated to the Historical Society of South Florida.
