*Funding partners
Florida International University fully welcomes participation in the dPanther digital library through collaboration and partnerships.
Content Partners/Contributors – Archives, libraries, museums, and private collectors with cultural, historical, and research materials may partner to serve their digitized content through the dPanther system for scholars, students, and interested citizens to access internationally via the Web. Partners may also include K-12 and university educational programs and research initiatives. The dPanther team will provide hosting services to partners. Partners are responsible for performing or contracting out all copyright clearance, scanning, metadata, and ingest tasks related to their collections. Development and design/branding work may incur fees. Depending on the volume of content, complexity of content types and formats, IT and/or processing maintenance fees may apply. A content partner may establish contractual work with FIU library.
Collaborators – External organizations, and University departments/centers are invited to work collaboratively on digital initiatives with FIU’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Center and/or Digital Collections Center (DCC), through grant and internally funded initiatives.
