Alliestean Reese interviewed by Gonzalo Garcia at Turner Tech in Miami, Florida, on March 26, 2002. In this interview, Alliestean Reese talks about how she grew up in "Overtown", her experience of education segregation in the school, her memories of Virginia Key Beach, the assassination of Martin Luther King, football games at Dorsey Park and the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) organizing marches.
