FIU Special Collections Parent

Online access to archival materials from the FIU Libraries Special Collections supports research on the histories and cultures of South Florida, the Caribbean, and Latin America. These resources reflect the region's diverse communities and contribute to the preservation of its historical record, spanning from the 15th to the 21st century.

The digital collections feature a range of materials across the sciences and humanities, including manuscripts, photographs, rare books, maps, audiovisual recordings, and archival documents from the English-, Spanish-, and French- speaking countries within the Caribbean Basin and South Florida. These holdings support research in genealogy, local and regional history, politics, culture, architecture, literature, and the arts.
