written on verso: "WHITE TIGER - Valued at $35,000 and flown from India to Crandon Park Zoo, Key Biscayne, Miami, Fla. "princess" is the second white tiger in American zoo history and the final one to leave India. The Indian Government nationalized its remaining white tigers to protect the rare genetic breed which took 10 years and 3 generations to produce. The tiger has blue eyes and is not an albino. It was given to the Zoological Society of Florida by socialite-sportsman, Ralph S. Scott.
