List of insured slaved persons by La Protectora, August 15, 1857. List of 147 slaved persons insured for a term of four years on behalf of La Gran Azucarera. A wealth of information is provided on each slaved person: name of insured, age, gender, race, physical description (color of eyes & hair, nose, lip, forehead, and beard), price, and policy number.
