Abstract:
An interview with humanitarian and author Khalilah Camacho Ali, the second wife of Muhammad Ali. During her marriage to Ali, she frequently stayed at the Hampton House Motel and Villas, and was actually photographed there with Ali and their first born child for the April 1969 cover of Ebony magazine. She was interviewed by Katie Coldiron, Digital Archivist of the Wolfsonian Public Humanities Lab-FIU, during the inaugural "The Greatest Weekend" event at the Historic Hampton House commemorating the 58th anniversary of Ali's victory over Sonny Liston on February 25, 1964.
