General Note:
Portrait of a woman labeled "Marie Shepard President 1986-88" Born 1921 in West Palm Beach to Alfred Clayton Shepard and Mary Annie Streater Shepard. Grew up in Boynton Beach, graduating from Boynton Beach High School in 1939. After a career in New York City as a legal secretary, she returned to Boynton in 1976 and was active in many local organizations, including the Boynton Beach Historical Society and Woman's Club. She died in 2018.
