General Note:
Workmen with ladders at the First Bank of Boynton Beach, 115 N. Federal Highway, Boynton Beach Florida. Historical note: The Bank of Boynton opened in 1915 on Ocean Avenue in the Harrell Block and in 1928 relocated to the SE corner of Ocean Avenue and US1; the bank failed in 1929. In 1947, the bank was reorganized as Boynton Beach State Bank in the same location, then moved in 1953 to 115 N. Federal. In about 1961, the bank is renamed First Bank of Boynton Beach and in 1969 the First Bank and Trust.
