Abstract:: The Lopez Collection of documents are Funeral Records from Monroe County from 1905 to 1920. The people included in this collection passed away and/or were buried in Key West or other locations in the county or elsewhere. Key information in the records include date of death, date of funeral, and cause of death. The residents of Key West succumbed to ailments including Tuberculosis and Enteritis, as well as having been victims of accidents and homicides. A key note of the record is the age of the deceased, as children made up a large number of the Funeral Records. ( en )
