Notes
Scope and Content:
Relate the variations in altitude of oolitic grainstone shoals that were deposited during the last interglacial (MIS 5e) to oscillations in sea level during the last highstand. Test the hypothesis that oscillations of sea level produce extensive lateral accretion of ooid shoals by examining the evolution of the Miami Oolite.
