Abstract:
This is an oral history interview with Rabbi Barry Silver (1956-2024). Rabbi Barry Silver was a lawyer, activist, and Florida state legislator. In June 2022, Silver filed a lawsuit against a Florida law banning abortions after 15 weeks, on the grounds that the law infringed on the constitution's right to freedom of religion.
