Notes
General Note:
The original church, designed by architects Gerald A. Barry and E.O. Kay in 1927-1928, was built to meet the needs of the Catholic community in the area. Bishop Patrick Barry of St. Augustine, Florida, announced the church would be named after St. Therese of Lisieux, who was known as "Little Flower." Architectural details of the church include a marble sanctuary and a Renaissance-style Dome. Architects Barry and Kay designed the 1951 addition to the church. Today, the site includes St. Theresa Catholic School located on Indian Mound Trail and a convent. The Church of the Little Flower is located at 2711 Indian Mound Trail.
