Notes
General Note:
Columbus Plaza lies at the intersection of Indian Mound Trail, Columbus Boulevard and the historical important Coral Way. The home of the first mayor of Coral Gables, Edward E. "Doc" Dammers, is located at 1141 Coral Way on the northeast corner of Columbus Plaza. The plaza is defined by decorative walls and column piers made of native coral rock and small fountains. The plaza is named for the famous explorer Christopher Columbus who sailed from Spain and discovered the New World while looking for an alternative passage to India.
