Notes
Abstract:
Four postcards: 1945 Color linen post card of Collins Canal at Meridian Avenue with water skier and Boulevard Hotel post card labelled "Dade Canal and Dade Boulevard Hotel." On reverse: "The Dade Canal is one of the many waterways crisscrossing Miami Beach, affording the populace a water avenue for "parking" their boats. (Dade Boulevard Hotel on left)." The Collins canal is often erroneously called "Dade Canal" probably because it runs along Dade Boulevard. 1950 Color linen post card published by Novelti-Craft Co., "Typical Residential Drive, Miami Beach, Fla. 222" 1926 B&W Post card showing east end of County Causeway and Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce building, trolley car on tracks. February 1924 - B&W photo, Post card showing Pancoast Lake, labelled "February 1924" - the caption reads "1955. On Pancoast Lake, Miami Beach, Florida. (1955 was probably the postcard index number, not a date).
